Terms of service.

The agreement between you and Sight. Plain-language, German law.

Last updated: 21 February 2026

Draft — not yet binding. These pages are pre-launch placeholders. The registered company name, address, VAT ID and contact details will be finalised before public launch.

01

The service

Sight provides automated website audits ("reports") that score technical SEO, on-page and content signals, and AI-answer-engine visibility. Reports are available as a one-time purchase or as a monthly subscription. These are placeholder terms — the binding version will be published before public launch.

02

Accounts and eligibility

You may run an anonymous teaser scan without an account. Saved sites, scheduled monitoring and subscription features require an account. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for activity under your account, and you must provide accurate information. You must be able to enter a binding contract to purchase a paid plan.

03

Fair use

Only scan websites you own or are authorised to audit. We rate-limit anonymous scans and require verification for scheduled monitoring. You must not use the service to disrupt third-party sites, to circumvent limits by automated means, or to resell access in a way that competes with us without authorisation.

Scores — in particular AI-visibility scores — are directional analyses, not guarantees of ranking, traffic or revenue.

04

Plans, payments and VAT

The full report is a one-time purchase per site. Starter and Pro are monthly subscriptions with per-tier limits shown on the pricing page. Prices include applicable VAT where required. Payments are processed by our payment provider; by purchasing, you authorise the corresponding charge.

05

Renewal, cancellation and withdrawal

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current period. One-time reports are delivered digitally and immediately. Where EU consumer withdrawal rights apply, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal lapses once the digital report has been provided.

06

Your content and ours

You keep all rights to the sites and content you submit, and grant us only the limited licence needed to crawl, analyse and report on them for you. The Sight platform, software, scoring methodology, and report designs remain our property. You may share your own reports; you may not copy or resell the platform itself.

07

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that scans will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that acting on a report will change your rankings or revenue. Reports are decision-support tools, not professional advice.

08

Liability

Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence to the extent permitted by German law. This does not affect mandatory statutory liability, including under the Product Liability Act or for injury to life, body or health.

09

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Where permissible, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.

10

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the binding version and its effective date will be published here, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions about these terms? Email hello@webreport.example.
